Engineering Pathway
Engineering is designed to offer students an overview of the engineering profession and fundamental skills utilized in general engineering. Students investigate various engineering disciplines and related career paths. They develop communication and teamwork skills as well as increase their understanding of basic scientific and mathematics principles used in problem solving through the engineering design process. Students will also explore the application of engineering principles in various technological areas including construction, transportation, communication, manufacturing, and bioengineering. Students will also learn about systems involved in the engineering research and design process. Topics include fluid, thermal, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Electronics Pathway
The BRHS Electronics Pathway is designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills of robotics and for this area of the electrical industry. Emphasis is placed on fundamentals of electrical current, digital circuits, electronic control systems, the design and operation of robotic systems, job safety, characteristics of digital circuit signals, logic gates, logic devices, and digital circuits and on applications of a variety of robotic systems. Upon successful completion of this pathway, students perform basic tasks related to the electrical industry and construct a robotic system with peripheral devices.
